How do you proceed?
You start with putting the gas burners together in a plastic bag with a dash of ammonia in combination with a glass of water. Let the sealed plastic bag carefully rest overnight outside (due to the pungent smell of Ammonia). If you take them out carefully the next morning or afternoon, you will see that your dirty gas burners will shine as if they are new!
